If you are on holiday in Jordan and another day on're in Amman, it might be helpful to know where you can go the best way to shop yet equally delicious. As you probably all the tourist spots have seen it, you may need to shop at a somewhat western setting. The following sites provide ample shopping fun for a day of shopping in Amman.

Sweifieh

This is the exception to everything described below. Especially in spring and autumn, this is a great location for shopping and drinking a cup of coffee at Starbucks. The reason it is lovely to sit here in the spring and fall and not so much in the summer due to the fact that this is the only location in Amman where you can shop a decent way out. In the summer it is simply too hot and the various air-conditioned shopping malls a better option, but in spring and autumn Sweifieh is an absolute must.
Opening hours:
  • Sweifieh has no real opening because you can always walk. Stores going around ten o'clock ?? open in the morning and around ten o'clock at night ?? shut. Restaurants and nightlife have longer opening hours.

Al Baraka Mall

Al Baraka Mall is open twenty-four in March 2008 and has 40,000 square meters area. Al Baraka Mall focuses on the modal earning to rich clients. Al Baraka Mall is located in Sweifieh within walking distance of the walking / shopping in Sweifieh.

  • Saturday to Thursday from ?? ten o'clock in the morning until ten o'clock at night ??
  • Friday for two hours ?? afternoon until ten o'clock at night ??
  • The supermarkets, eateries and entertainment venues have extended opening hours

Mecca Mall

Mecca Mall is a 65,000 square meter shopping mall spread over 5 floors. Mecca Mall is located on Mecca Street, one of the main highways from Amman. There are over four hundred stores located in Mecca Mall, so anyone can go there. When you have finished shopping you can find on the third floor a large variety of dining options. For a night out Mecca Mall is suitable, there is a bowling center on the fourth floor as well as a cinema.

City Mall

City Mall is a 165,000 square meter shopping center spread over 5 floors. There are so ?? one hundred stores located in City Mall so anyone can go there. When you have finished shopping you can find on the third floor a large variety of dining options. Also, for an evening City Mall fit, there is a large cinema located. Furthermore, for the children ?? Jingo's Jungle, a kind of mini fairground in jungle theme on the third floor.

Abdoun Mall

Abdoun Mall opened in 2001 and has 29,000 square meters on three floors. All the shops you need can be found here and also in this mall you can go out to dinner. As the name treachery is this mall located in the affluent neighborhood of Abdoun, it is obvious that this mall is particularly suitable for those with a slightly larger purse.

Amman Mall

Amman Mall is the oldest mall in Jordan, opened in 1999. In Amman Mall is Jordan's largest supermarket, namely: C-town. You can also get everything your heart desires from a haircut to go full out to eat. For the children you will find Jordan's largest amusement park here, namely: Dream Park.
Opening hours:
  • From morning till seven o'clock ?? s one o'clock at night ??

Other Malls and Centers

  • Istiklal Mall
  • Plaza Mall Hashimi Schmali
  • Cozmo close seventh circle
  • Safeway in Schmeisani, and near Jubaiha seventh circle

These malls or centers for tourists visiting Amman not really interesting because they do not have a comprehensive collection of shops or in terms of location is not interesting. If you are indeed looking specifically western supermarket products you are further not encountered in Jordan, then a visit to Cozmo Cozmo well worth it because there are known to have products that are not available anywhere else.
