In the desert, where heat is always there during the day and at night it can be deadly cold, seems almost impossible to survive. But some animals can indeed, what animals and how you can read in this article.


Everyone knows that the desert is very hot and dry, but what does it mean? Well it is quite easy to say that a desert is hot and there is little animals would live, but this is not true. In the desert life considerable numbers of animals. They have fully adapted to the desert heat. Examples of deserts, the Sahara, the Gobi desert, the Kalahari, the Namibia Desert, the Negev and the Great Arabian Desert.
The Sahara
The Sahara is about 9 million square meters and is a sandy desert. The animals that live there: gerbils, camels, scorpions, vipers sand and camels. The animals that can be spotted there are gazelles, springbok and antelope. But unlike little water they have in this desert once in a while an enormous amount of rain which weigh overflows and provides sufficient moisture for the animals.
The Arabian desert
This desert is about 2.33 million square kilometers and is again one of the largest deserts in the world. With a temperature of 50 degrees during the day and near freezing in the night, it seems once again difficult to survive here. But the opposite is true, in this desert life because people too! The animals in this desert life: squirrels, lizards, snakes, mice, rats, and now again the Arabian oryx and the duingazel which successfully reintroduced into the area.

Reptiles and insects
