Garuda Indonesia will take effect from June 1, 2010 to fly again in Europe, with Amsterdam the first destination will be. Previously, the company was known in European airspace, but after some problems they were exiled. Now they have their act back together, they are ready to resume flights to Europe, starting with Amsterdam.

The society

PT Garuda Indonesia has been founded in 1949 in the national airline of Indonesia. They are named after the mythical bird Garuda. Headquartered at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Tangerang city. In addition, the airline has hubs at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, Polonia International Airport in Medan, Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, Balikpapan Sepinggan International Airport and Singapore Changi Airport.
Garuda Indonesia flies to numerous destinations in Asia, the Middle East and Australia. Previously, there was also a large list of destinations in Europe and North America. Between June 2007 and July 2009 the Garuda and several other Indonesian societies, in however, was allowed to fly to destinations within the EU following a number of accidents. This ban was lifted in July 2009 and since then there have been no problems. As of June 2010 is flown again in Amsterdam. This happened with a stopover in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is carried out with an Airbus A330-200.
Garuda has a call center which is accessible 24 hours a day to book flights. Tickets for international flights can not be booked online. Tickets for domestic flights are to be booked via the website. The system which can use an e-ticket works on all domestic flights and flights to Singapore.
Garuda Indonesia has codeshare agreements with many other big society, including Cathay Pacific, Iberia Airlines, Japan Airlines, Hainan Airlines, China Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Turkish Airlines and Virgin Blue.
