A whole week of food for less than one euro per person per day is possible if you prepare the right food and doing cheap groceries.   • Mix the other half of the sour cream mixture with the mashed potatoes and spread over the fish and leek mixture.
  • Sprinkle the casserole with cheese and bake the dish for 20 to 25 minutes until cooked in the oven.

Budgettip
Buy a block of cheese and grate it yourself. The rest of the can be used as bread spreads.

Fried rice with satay

For four people, about ?? 0.95 per person
  • 400 grams of milled rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 150 grams bean sprouts
  • 150 grams of white cabbage
  • 1 red pepper
  • 300g pork rags
  • 100 grams of peanut butter
  • sambal
  • coriander powder
  • curry
  • sweet soy sauce
  • oil

Preparation
  • Let some skewers in cold water.
  • Cut the pieces of pork into cubes.

  • 4 white or brown bulbs
  • 300g chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 clove garlic
  • bread-crumbs
  • 1 head of lettuce

Preparation
  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Peel the potatoes and cut them into thick strips.
  • Sprinkle the potato strips with oil and salt.
  • Bake the potatoes in the oven for about 45 to 60 minutes until golden.
  • Meanwhile, mix the minced meat with crushed garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, salt, pepper and ketchup.
  • Make it with your hands four hamburgers and fry them in a frying pan with cooking oil or margarine.
  • Wash the lettuce and drizzle a little oil and vinegar over the salad.
  • Cut the bulb in half and place the burgers with some mustard and ketchup in between.
  • Serve the burgers with homemade chips and salad.

Budget Tips
Many stores sell from Thursday to Sunday weekend spheres. Often this is a big bag of 10, but the price is lower. The remaining bulbs you can eat breakfast or lunch. New potatoes you can eat with zest. You will have less waste and therefore require less potatoes.
